The Small Business Discounts service is provided by a couple of proud members of the FSB i.e. Austen and Mark who each run their own small businesses and are based near Leeds and Bradford respectively.

While the Small Business Discounts project has not been endorsed by the FSB we do see it as a very useful service to all FSB members (and small businesses in general!) irrespective of whether you are buying or selling! Our emphasis has been on small and local... small businesses are the backbone of the UK economy and yet we are increasingly getting pinched and squeezed so it's important that we stick together, pull in the same direction and support each other however we can (i.e. by trading with other small businesses). By focussing locally we can help reduce the environmental impact of our dealings and also reduce costs in terms of lower travel costs etc.
